Do we have to attend the entire day?
Not at all- come and go as you please! All activities will be set up during open hours- the only special time-specific activities are the seminars listed on the schedule.
Will there be food available?
The Dena'ina Center will have food available for purchase at their concessions stands.
What should we bring?
There are a few stations with arts and crafts, so maybe bring a bag or backpack to store your kiddos creations in if they enjoy crafting!
Bring your kids for two action-packed days of hands-on outdoor fun—indoors! From archery and laser shooting to climbing and more, kids will learn by doing while building confidence and curiosity. Enjoy live demonstrations like bird dogs in action and learn to field dress an elk.
No pre-registration required. This event is FREE for the public and we have partnered with over 25 federal, state, and non-profit organizations to provide educational activities for Alaska’s youth and adults.

In 2025, we sent our first group of thirteen Rambusters campers out to Rainy Pass Lodge for a 9-day immersive outdoor camp, an initiative dedicated to cultivating the next generation of passionate hunter-conservationists.
This camp is an extraordinary opportunity designed to ignite a lifelong love for the great outdoors, hunting, and, most importantly, a profound understanding of wildlife conservation. Whether your child is an experienced outdoor enthusiast or just beginning the journey, the camp promises to cater to all skill levels, ensuring that every participant finds inspiration and growth.
We will send up to 25 kids age 11-17 to our 2026 Rambusters Camp in partnership with Rainy Pass Lodge. The 2026 camps will consist of two week-long sessions, one from June 15-22 and another from June 22-29. The application period for Rambusters Camp 2026 is open from February 12-April 13, 2026. Applicants will be notified by the first week of May. Chosen applicants will meet at Regal Air in Anchorage on their start day and fly to the historic Rainy Pass Lodge, nestled 125 air miles Northwest of Anchorage on the serene Puntilla Lake. Want to ensure you don't miss any Rambusters 2026 updates? Make sure you are a current member of the Alaska Wild Sheep Foundation. The applicant or their parent must be a current member of the Alaska Wild Sheep Foundation for acceptance, and preference will be given to tenured members.
Thank you to our 2025 Rambusters camp sponsors and partners- Rainy Pass Lodge, 907 Ammo, Full Curl Archery, Wild Sheep Foundation, Zeiss, and Stone Glacier.
